Personal / ClientShowreelMotion designer specialising in expressive, character-driven animation and crisp, engaging motion graphics. I work across tools like Rive and After Effects to create interactive and linear animations that feel playful, purposeful, and polished. My work blends personality-led character animation with clean, snappy motion design—bringing ideas to life through timing, rhythm, and attention to detail. Whether it's micro-interactions, explainer visuals, or brand-led animation, I focus on making motion that not only looks good, but communicates clearly and feels great to experience.
PersonalI am currently in the final stages of producing an original animated short film, set for completion by the end of 2025, with plans to submit it to film festivals throughout 2026. Created entirely in Adobe After Effects, the film explores a unique narrative in which the main character experiences a physical cyber attack and is pulled into his phone.Working independently on this project has been both challenging and rewarding. It has allowed me to manage my own timeline, develop a strong creative vision, and build something I'm proud to share.
ClientJellyCatEmployed through Hylink UK, I worked on a Jellycat campaign that toured across China with exclusive pop-up shops. Collaborating closely with photographer and director Stephen Gunn, we captured precise 360-degree imagery of the products. I then translated these into realistic motion animations using After Effects, bringing the products to life for the campaign.

I combined motion design with logic-driven systems such as data binding and event-based triggers to create adaptive, multilingual onboarding flows that could respond dynamically to user input and behaviour. This approach allowed onboarding journeys to be personalised, translated, and interactive, reacting to touch and user engagement in real time. I also built quiz-based flows and embedded analytics events to help the team better understand user behaviour, including drop-off points, engagement patterns, and user segmentation.Wordcast, Jan to May 2026

ClientBolt 6For this project, I added interactive motion design to Bolt6's website to make the introduction of its six founding members more engaging. I illustrated each founder in my own style and turned the portraits into animated, interactive "mugshots" that appeared throughout the site, bringing a playful edge to a typically serious brand.A key success was how naturally the illustrations fit the existing design while adding personality and humour. The main challenge was balancing creativity with professionalism, ensuring the animations felt expressive yet on-brand. The final result made the site more memorable, human, and visually engaging — achieving exactly what Bolt6 wanted. bolt6.ai/about-us
ClientHylink / ChinatownWorking with Chinatown at the end of 2024 was a major milestone for me. As a brand and location that had resonated with me since childhood, it was a deeply meaningful project. In celebration of Chinese New Year — the Year of the Snake — I was tasked with designing a commemorative logo and producing a promotional video aimed at encouraging international students to visit Chinatown.
ClientSubtle animations made in After Effects using plugins like Limber 2 and puppet pins, for an exhibition on the UAE's ancient history at the Zeyhad National Museum. It was important for the client to maintain the watercolour style of the images despite the movement. This required precision when cutting out figures — I used the texture in their ancient clothes to my advantage, using creases as natural cut lines.
ClientRye Lane BagelsI was commissioned by a local bagel shop to create a series of fun, interactive animations for both their social media platforms and website. Using Adobe After Effects and the Limber rigging system, I brought their brand to life with playful, eye-catching motion design that helped boost their online presence and audience engagement. In addition to the content creation, I animated their pre-existing logo, adding dynamic movement that gave the brand a fresh, modern feel while staying true to its identity. This project was a great opportunity to blend creative storytelling with practical marketing goals—and, of course, it was a lot of fun bringing a bit of personality to their bagel-loving brand.
PersonalDiving BoardWorking to develop my animation techniques and inspired by the popular children's show Maddie and Triggs, I created this short walk cycle in After Effects using Limber 2 and Joysticks 'n Sliders. This project helped me improve my effectiveness in creating both 3D and 2D character rigs.
